Something I miss alot...

Last July 7, 2007, one of my friends challenged me to not drink caffeinated beverages for one day. This is because at the time, I was drinking 3-4 per day, and not a lot of anything else. I was running on caffeine, and it used to be a "joke" at places...as to how many I had for that day. Since that challenge, it was for one day only.. I have not had any caffeinated beverages at all... I do eat chocolate, which people say is ok... because there is not a lot of caffeine in chocolate. Every now and then though... I do miss my caffeine.

After Easter 2008

This is the "After Easter" sale at a local store... I just thought that it was a lot of stuff to try and get rid of.

These were the eggs were the ones that the Easter bunny never delivered..(DARN rabbit) I didn't do a thing special for Easter.. I did go to my friends in Fairfield and help him and his family with the Easter egg hunt, and had a nice dinner. All in all it was a good day.

A nice way to spend a Sat. Night

I haven't done a thing for this show, and I decided to go see the performance, instead of work it and it was a great way to spend a Sat. Night. Not being in charge or responsible. The singers, some left something to be desired, but on the whole, it was a good thing.

Catching up on Sleep

This is where I have been spending my afternoons lately... catching up on sleep and being lazy... after the last couple of weeks, it is nice...

The Singing Duck

On my walk today, I and my friend Jenn went to two different places, and in one spot we saw this Singing Duck and in the other, we went to the park and Jenn tried to take pics of a butterfly and it wouldn't stay still long enough.

I have been working all day in Oakland, with this group..from San Francisco and youth from around the Bay area... sorry this is so late...

There was a meeting tonight with the youth in the church and a leader from Salt Lake City. It was a good evening.

This is what I call snacks for the day. I try to eat healthy and this is how I do some of that.

The Sword and the show

People who know me, will know where this sword comes from. For those who don't, it comes from the Oakland Temple Pageant, "And It Came to Pass." I received this sword about three years ago from my working relationship with the show and certain technical people for 8 years.
It is one of my favorite things from the show.

Memories of the Past

This is an award that I received from friends in the area for a theater show, called "The Apricot Tree". I worked that show 5 years ago... wow how time flies...

Geese and Ducks

I was in Fairfield, CA today having some work done on my car and I stopped by a park and saw these geese and ducks all over the place. Lots of them everywhere.

Tomato Plant Grows

I received this tomato plant last weekend and I transplanted it earlier this week and so I am now hoping that it will grow and produce nice Roma tomatoes. As the spring and summer progress we shall see.

Exercise and a Surprise

I was walking with Jenn today in Brentwood, CA and at the end of the walk we came upon a house that had a fence around it and two dogs and over to the right of the dogs was THIS!!
He or she, I really don't know which it is... was just sitting there enjoying it self. Exercise and a surprise...

Getting Exercise

Went to get some exercise, a friend of mine named Jenn and I, try to walk for at least an hour every day and we went to the Contra Loma Regional Park and saw a horse, and lots of fowl birds, and this "ugly" duck... but it did have pretty feathers.

A Dog Day!!!

This is a dog named Zoe!!! She was the cap off to a day that could have gone to the dogs... but after I saw her... well that changed the day.

" Spot" the Dog

For several weeks now, I have been talking about having a dog... I along with my roommate and friend, live in an apartment and there is no room for a dog, plus the landlord most likely would not let us have a dog. Also, neither one of us is home enough to take care of a dog. Especially me... so for the time being.. this is my dog.."Spot".

The Boy and the Wall

This little boy was trying to climb this wall and he tried like three times to get up this big climbing wall. He was working so hard to try and get somewhere up the wall, and he could only get about so high before his mom's arm would run out of reach from helping support him as he climbed. Just a cool kid.
